(description copied from archived webstore, 2005 ver.)
Standard issue to the U.S. Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment, this pack has a total carrying capacity of approximately 3,000 cubic inches. Constructed using 1000 denier Dupont© CORDURA©, the pack features: external portable radio and three pop flare pouches, internal securing harness for communications gear, internal hydration bladder pouch, heavily padded adjustable shoulder straps, adjustable waist strap, heavily padded back surface and heavy duty carry handle. Type 8 nylon webbing is used for parachute harness attachment webbing. This pack was originally designed by LBT in 1995 at the request of the 75th Rangers. Since then, we have made several thousand; some of the original ones are actually still in service. These packs are usually used in airborne combat light operations by RTOs, but all Rangers use them due to their exceptional design and quality.
