We all love MOLLE! While using pack which has MOLLE/PALS on it, we are always tend to attach some pouches to it. Most MOLLE panel on packs are two, three, four or six PALs webbing in width, but there exists some packs are five, which make you hard to find a proper pouch for it.
So this time, I’ll introduce some MOLLE compatible pouch products which just occupy five MOLLE in width. According to the principle of practices, I will ignore the products which are discontinued or not available.

Triple Side x Side Magazine Pouch
The most common pouch that occupies five MOLLE in width, you can pick one in any surplus store at very low price and in any color/camouflage you want.
To be honest, magazine pouches are not so perfect for daily use, but thanks to the large number and low price, you can do some modify work to it, like remove the splits and add zipper to the opening.

CIACS AFK Utility Pouch
Of course, in addition to the poor magazine bag, there is also a kind of pouch which occupies five MOLLE in width and more suitable for daily use in the issued items. This is the Radio Pocket of CMU-33 kit (horizontally designed, not the Radio And Knife Stowage Pocket with a vertical knife pocket). This accessory bag takes up 5 * 3 MOLLE, with two lift-the dot snap closures designed to accommodate the PRC-90 survival radio. The interior of the accessory bag is not separated, but it is actually a simple structure utility pouch. I bought one to put on my ILBE assault pack. Later on, this accessory also appeared in Eagle Industries’ air crew body armor kit – Combat Integrated Armor Carrier System Air Force Kit (CIACS AFK), available in three colors: coyote brown, foliage green and MULTICAM. By the way, in order to meet the requirements of combat vehicle crews, all components of CIACS are flame resistance.
