(Following description is quoted from the SOE brand website achieves.)
The Force Vest is constructed entirely of 1000 denier Cordura® nylon for strength because there is no room for failure from your equipment. Construction of the vest has been over engineered because a warranty alone will not get you to your objective.
Made to be adjusted, there is 36″ of overall around adjustment and 12″ of vertical adjustment which allow it to be worn over MOPP Gear, cold weather gear, body armor, SPIES or rappelling rigs and even underneath jump harnesses.
There is a large heavy duty drag handle (which will not come off!) attached to the back across the shoulders to aid in the rescue of teammates as well as six belt loops which allow the the vest to be used with a web or duty belt.
All pouches feature Oxidized Brass grommets for drainage that will not rust!
Attachment points are reinforced with heavy duty scuba webbing for stiffness and strength
On the left hand side of the vest, there are two low cut magazine pouches that each hold 2 M16 magazines (the low cut allows a better grip for an easier and faster mag change). On the right side, there is one double M16 magazine pouch, one single pistol magazine pouch, and one large utility/cargo pocket. Above each of the main compartments, there are upper attachment points for optional accessories, such as the Dual Magazine Upper or Utility Upper. You can attach accessories on these attachment points through the reinforced slotted webbing using Velcro, ALICE clips, or Zip-tie’s. The Velcro attachment points also allow you to hold the main magazine pouches open for faster access to your ammunition. The slotted webbing is wide enough to accept the back clip of a push-to-talk hand microphone. Backed by Special Operations Equipment’s LIFETIME warranty. The Force Vest comes in Olive Drab, Black, Tan, and Camouflage.
